Chinese label is a must for imported wine

Several days ago the Bureau of Inspection & Quarantine of Guangdong captured a set of imported Australian wines because they lack of Chinese labels. When the official staff made a routine inspection of these wines, they found that almost 1/4 of these wines were not reported for application before and all of these wines lacked of Chinese labels.

According to the Bureau of the Inspection & Quarantine, from 1 st April 2006 , the Inspection and Quarantine Administration of the People's Republic of China had mended the regulation for inspection and approval of Chinese labeling for imports and exports. Although the procedures of the Chinese labels examination become simple, the requirement of it was not reduced. The imported wines must have Chinese labels; otherwise they could not be sold in China . Therefore, he who wants to import wines from foreign countries shall pay attention to the Chinese government's regulations on labeling in order to avoid troubles and losses.
