Binyamina`s 2004 Vintage

Binyamina`s vintage is from the beginning of August through to the beginning of October. This year the winery received 20% more grapes compared to 2003. This significant rise refers to enhanced quality as well as to quantity, as it included special grape varieties such as Tempranillo, Viognier, Pinot Noir, Gewurztraminer, Cabernet Franc and Zinfandel.
Binyamina is Israel`s fourth largest wine producer and received almost 6% of Israel`s wine grape yield.

This year the winery inaugurated cutting-edge technology that allows it to store temperature data for the relevant vineyards. This information is especially crucial for the nights prior to harvesting.
We were also joined this year by professional consultant Benny Surkin, who provided professional support to the winegrowers throughout the year and during the harvesting season.
